Built by a Turo Host, for Turo Hosts
By Nick Jaime · Founder, OTL Rental LLC · DFW, TX · 30+ car Turo fleet
MyFleetOS isn't a software company that decided to make a tool for Turo hosts. It's a Turo fleet that decided to build a real platform after running out of patience with spreadsheets, group texts, and dashboards that don't tell you what's actually happening.
The fleet came first
I started OTL Rental on Turo with one car. Like every host, I tracked everything in Google Sheets. It worked. Then I added a second car. Still worked. By car five, I'd missed two check-ins, lost track of which car needed an oil change, and couldn't tell my wife whether the business was actually profitable.
I tried Airtable. I tried buying a "fleet template" off Etsy. I tried two generic fleet management tools built for car rental franchisees — they didn't understand Turo, didn't import the data correctly, and didn't have the daily ops view a real fleet needs.
So I built MyFleetOS. First just for me. Then for my dad's cars on the same Turo account. Then for a friend who was running 8 cars and willing to be the first paying customer.
OTL Rental now runs 30+ cars on the platform we built — same dashboard you'd use as a customer, same daily ops view, same investor portal. We eat our own cooking, every day.
What we believe
Daily ops > analytics
The most useful screen in any fleet tool is "what needs to happen today?" — not last quarter's revenue chart. We obsess over the daily view.
Profit > earnings
Turo shows earnings. We show profit — net of fees, loans, insurance, cleaning, claims, and ownership splits. The number that actually matters.
Mobile-first, always
You don't run a fleet from a desk. Every feature is built to work on your phone first. Native iOS and Android apps coming next.
Your data, your business
Export anything as CSV anytime. We don't trap you. Multi-tenant isolation means no other operator can see your data, ever.
What we're building toward
Most fleet platforms are read-only — they tell you what happened. The future of MyFleetOS is a real operating system that does work on your behalf:
- Auto-detects swap conflicts before they happen
- Schedules cleanings automatically based on trip end times
- Flags maintenance before it becomes a damage claim
- Generates the daily route plan optimized for staff and drive times
- Drafts investor reports the system already has the data for
We're already most of the way there. The AI Assistant on Fleet Pro can do half the daily ops work today. The rest is a roadmap, not a wishlist.
We are still small (and that's the point)
I respond to every support email myself. Every feature request is read. Every bug report goes straight into my Linear. If MyFleetOS doesn't work for you, you'll get a refund and an honest conversation about why — because every "this didn't work" makes the platform better for the next person.
Talk to me
I'm Nick. You can email me at nick@myfleetos.com — that's a real inbox. If you want a 10-minute Zoom demo before signing up, reply with a time. I do every demo myself.
If you're thinking about Turo and want to know if MyFleetOS is right for you, I'd rather you not subscribe than subscribe and be unhappy. The honest answer for a 1-2 car host is "stay on a spreadsheet for now." For 5+ cars, MyFleetOS pays for itself in saved time on day one.
